I didn't set out to become a fractional executive.
It happened because founders kept asking for help after they'd outgrown their agencies but weren't ready for a full-time CMO.
What they needed wasn't another marketing plan. They needed someone who could sit at the leadership table, make the hard decisions, work across product and sales and customer success, and help the business grow. That's the role I play today.
Twenty years in, that experience is stitched together from SVP and CMO seats at venture-backed cybersecurity and SaaS companies, eight years running an award-winning agency, marketing leadership across B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, professional services, industrial, architecture, healthcare, construction, and manufacturing — and a decade in government leadership before any of it. I've rebuilt marketing organizations from scratch. I've also inherited them mid-crisis and made them accountable to revenue.
Founders bring me in when marketing has stopped producing business results — when the pipeline has stalled, when positioning no longer resonates, when the marketing team is busy but not moving the business, or when they're preparing to raise, expand, or replace a CMO.
